Join me for a World Collage Day celebration: A creative supply swap in Brooklyn!

Hi Everyone, 

Stopping by to share an announcement. I pushed myself out of my comfort zone to plan Learn.Grow.Pass’ first in-person event: A creative supply swap to celebrate World Collage Day. 

As a creative, I am constantly exploring new techniques and mediums, which means I’ve accumulated quite a collection of supplies, art books, and materials. For years, I’ve dreamed of creating an opportunity where creative minds could trade and find new inspiration – and that idea has finally jumped from my notebook into reality!  

If you’re in New York on Saturday, May 10 at 3pm, I invite you to join us as we swap, giveaway or barter: 

• ​​Journals and notebooks
• ​​Pens, markers, scissors, general supplies
• ​​Books that will be used for collage 
• ​​Magazine and comic books
• ​​Paper ephemera
• ​​Maps, stickers, postcards
• ​​Craft tutorial books 
• ​​Beads, old jewelry, small tile pieces 

​​How it works 

• ​​Items will be self-organized by swap type: trade, giveaway, or barter
• ​​BYOB (bring your own bag) of supplies in good condition so everyone can go home inspired
• ​​Bring what you can carry here and back home
• ​​No items left behind. Anything you bring must be traded or kept

• ​​Welcome and Mingle. Connect with fellow creatives.
• ​​Collage Techniques & Materials Panel. Learn about different approaches and innovative material uses 
• ​​Supply Swap. Exchange materials and find new treasures for your creative practice
• ​​Create & Collaborate. Optional, stay and start creating with your new supplies! Share techniques and inspiration with others
